Author Ann Wachtler created SMP in 2011 to publish the first Super Power of the Day novel, Origins of a Sixth Grade Superhero. The Hero Chronicle Continues and The Final Face-Off rounded out the middle grade trilogy.

Next up: A created world fantasy series for YA readers, set in a medieval version of the upper Midwest.

On the horizon…
The first trilogy took seven years to write, revise, and publish. It looks like this second series, Lio and Lamb, will take equally as long.
